Gayot: “This tiny, somewhat hard-to-find joint draws crowds of locals for many reasons: the thin-crusted and wood-fired pizza that owner Bryan Wilson calls “Decatur”-style, the good prices and the lack of dress code.”

Access Atlanta: Bob Townsend called the Toco Hills location quirky. He also said “Made-to-order guacamole easily vies for the title of best in town..”

Creative Loafing: Cliff Bostock of Atlanta CL fame visited our Toco Hills location and said of Shorty’s “This is the best inexpensive restaurant I’ve encountered in months.”

Creative Loafing: Bill Addison, formerly of Atlanta CL fame and current dining editor and restaurant critic for Atlanta Magazine, wrote a year end article entitled “Eight great eats in ’05″. We are very happy to say Shorty’s Pizza made his short list.
